Woodyhyde Campsite - Corfe Castle, Isle of Purbeck

View of Woodyhyde Campsite

Open from Easter until October 2008

Woodyhyde Campsite is set in the heart of the Purbeck Countryside with approximately 13 acres. The campsite is a large rural site made up of three seperate fields. The campsite has no marked pitches creating a relaxed camping feel allowing both tents and motor homes to pitch where they prefer. Dogs are welcomed on two of the camping fields. Unfortunately the campsite cannot accommodate caravans.

The campsite is an ideal location for all types of holiday with foothpaths leading directly to the Purbeck Hills and the coastal paths on the outstanding Jurassic Coast. For a less strenous day the beautiful award winning beaches of Swanage and Studland are also close by.

The Isle of Purbeck is designated as a "World Heritage Site" for its Jurassic Coast, recognised as one of the worlds most geologically important places on the planet, also rated as an area of
"out-standing natural beauty".

The Swanage steam railway also runs adjacent to the campsite and can be a great sight to see puffing along its way to Corfe or Swanage.
