Woodyhyde Campsite is set in the heart of the beautiful Purbeck countryside. Our campsite is a large 13 acre rural site spread across 3 seperate fields. Our campsite does not have marked pitches which creates a very relaxed, spacious feel. We give freedom to our visitors to pitch wherever they prefer. Dogs are very welcome on two of the camping fields but unfortunately the campsite cannot accommodate caravans.
The location of our campsite makes it suitable for all types of holiday or come just for a weekend to chill out. From the campsite there are foothpaths leading directly to the Purbeck Hills and the coastal paths on the outstanding Jurassic Coast. Anybody camping who is looking for a less strenous day out, then the beautiful award winning beaches of Swanage and Studland are not very far away.
The Isle of Purbeck is designated as a "World Heritage Site" for its Jurassic Coast, recognised as one of the worlds most geologically important places on the planet, also rated as
an area of
"out-standing natural beauty".
The Swanage steam railway also runs adjacent to the campsite and is a great sight to see puffing along its way along the tracks to Corfe or Swanage.
So please come and visit our lovely campsite we look forward to welcoming you and are sure you will have a great time.
