Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre is an internationally acclaimed 65-acre wildlife park near Wareham in Dorset and is home to over 150 rescued primates across 15 species. Known worldwide from the long-running television series Monkey Business, Monkey World plays a vital role in rescuing, rehabilitating and protecting abused and mistreated primates.

The park is home to the largest group of chimpanzees outside Africa, many rescued from circuses, laboratories and illegal captivity. Monkey World focuses on rehabilitation and long-term welfare, allowing animals to live in large, natural social groups wherever possible.

In addition to chimpanzees, visitors can see orangutans, gibbons, ring-tailed lemurs, stump-tailed macaques and several other monkey species, all living in spacious, carefully managed enclosures.
